What is Saddle?
Saddle is an extension of the Mule enterprise service bus (ESB). It allows the graphical configuration, administration and monitoring of the mule system. Furthermore, it eases the message handling and extends the connectivity of the Mule ESB.
Saddle is an Open Source Java project that is published under a CPAL license. The objective of Saddle is to bring Mule to a “business ready” state in terms of usability. However many components of Saddle, especially the message handling layer can also be directly integrated in any Java application.
This project has been initiated by the Public Research Centre Henri Tudor in Luxemburg.
