Where is the download page?
Where is the download page?
Hello,
I have a need for a FlatFile connector to Mule. Someone on the Mule forum sent me here.
I register but I can't find the download page. When I clic on "Download" in the menu a "Logout" page appears???!!!
Can you point me at Saddle download page? (I know this question must look stupid lol)
Tank you & Regards,
Seb!
Re: Where is the download page?
Hello Seb,
you simply have to click Download in the menu bar. But you have to be registered and logged in for accessing the download files. Please try again by clicking Download.
EDIT: I was able to reproduce your problem: After login via the login link in the menu bar, you have to press the download button again to make the correct page occure. Alternatively, you can use the login dialog in the content page of the download section. This one will lead you directly to the download page.

Re: Where is the download page?
When you read "You are currently logged in to the private area of this site." then click again on Download and you should see the files.
And please download the latest nightly build if you are using Mule 3.0.1 instead of the stable one as it countains a bugfix described in the user forum.
Hope that works for you.

Re: Where is the download page?
The download section will now automatically be opened when a user logs in.

Re: Where is the download page?
Hello ledzepu2,
normally you should be redirected to the previous page after logging in. If you are NOT logged in a login page will be displayed and you will be forwarded afterwards. What I experienced in Opera is, that the page gets cached and then has to be reloaded completely (or you have to simply delete the browser cache). Please check that the Saddle page displays "logout" beneath the search field in the top right to ensure that you are already logged in and then reload the downloads page.
Hope this helps,
Matthias

Re: Where is the download page?
Hi,
I answered it was resolved but actually it's not: when I log in and then click on the "download page" I get the following text: "You are currently logged in. Please click the download menu again to access the download area."
And so even if I clear my cache.
I'm using Firefox.
Regards,
Seb!
Re: Where is the download page?
Hi,
It seems that the login itself is working as you have been recongnized as logged-in user today.
What happen if you first click on Download in the menu, and then log in from this page ?
In the meantime, we still investigate on this. We'll let you know what we found.
Regards,
Samuel

Did you try to login from the content pannel after you clicked the download link?

Did you try to click the download link again after loging in? If you did and the same text appears after that, it seems to me that your browser has a caching issue.
After login in, did you try to press <CRTL>+<F5>? That should force firefox to request the page directly from the server.
Finally, do you have a chance to login from another computer or browser and check if the problem persists?

Ortwin
EDIT: We have now added a directive that instructs the browser to not cache the pages from this site. This should solve any issues, you might still have had with the download section.
