All of Saddle’s own connectors are able to not only poll with a given frequency but instead be triggered on demand. These connectors have a property called „Polling“ that enables and disables continuous polling. If polling is disabled these connectors can be used to retrieve messages by calling the requestMessage() method. The default behavior of all Saddle connectors is that they are polling.
